This movie has taken the WTC attack (9/11) as a historic background. The heinous attack on World Trade Centre brings the upheavals in the life of these actors of New York. Their ethnicity and their country of origin come under scanner and they face brutal torture and injustice. Irfan Khan has played the role of crime investigator. He has played this sort of role in few more films. It is speculated that this movie is based on a similar theme of a Pakistani movie “ Khuda Ke liye”.
